This heirloom single origin coffee varietal is native to the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia and has a complex profile, bursting with intense spices and fruit profiles. Dark cocoa, raspberries and blueberries can be found by varying the brewing process. Intense profiles will be more prominent in an espresso and full immersion brewing will accentuate the brighter fruit profiles. A good all rounder.

Aint no coffee in the world like Yirgachafe coffee. I’ve had the privilege to travel to that area multiple times for work, and not only do they have the best coffee in the world (many would agree), but they are also bitterly poor and the area needs our support. As an African, I’ll never buy coffee from any other continent… no need to – its the best… and they need our support. Deluxe, you guys roast it to perfection, and costs are good too. could you educate us consumers about your policy on fair trade with the farmers themselves? Cause they are dying of starvation in that area (many of the farmers who grow coffee – although not sure which yours area??).
